Fontwell Horse Racing Money Back Betting Offer
September 25, 2008
Fontwell is the chosen destination for Thursday’s (25th September) horse racing betting offer from Paddypower. If you’re planning on betting on the 4:10 at this meeting, then Paddypower will refund your stake if your horse finishes second behind the SP favourite.
The Alan King trained Archduke Ferdinand is likely to be the SP favourite in the race, he is the clear pick on form and the tissue favourite and is more likely to come for further support before the race than be overtaken in the betting. Strong Coffee is a horse that showed good form as a Novice last season and may be a threat but Irish Whispers is the horse that has been something of an early morning gamble and could well make his presence felt in this handicap.

Paddypower make I’m your man the 3/1 favoruite for the race and does look a likely contender. However, several others in the race do appear to hold chances, none more so than the Evan Williams trained Golden Feather, who comes to this race in good form having won last time out. He is still well weighted in the handicap despite carryign top weight and should make a bold bid.

Chelsea v Man Utd Odds and Betting Offer
September 18, 2008
Chelsea v Man Utd is arguably the biggest game of the Premier League season, the only other game that challenges it is when Man Utd welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford. Sunday’s game at Stamford Bridge is sure to be a big betting event as it will be the first time that the two sides have met since that eventful night in Moscow back in May, when Man Utd won the Champions League final on penalties. Depsite a new manager in the form of Phil Scolari taking his place in the Stamford Bridge hot seat, the Blues are sure to be out for revenge and take poll position in the Premier League title race.
Before the season kicked off, bookmakers could not split Man Utd and Chelsea in the betting for who will be crowned Premiership Champions 2008/2009. However, after a somewhat slower start than their London rivals, Manchester United have drifted in the betting, leaving Chelsea as the clear favourites. Paddypower currently make Chelsea the 10/11 favourites to win the league after winning three and drawing one of their opening four Premier League fixtures. In contrast, Man United have been pushed out to 5/2 following just one win from their opening three matches. Despite it being very early days, Chelsea will see this game as a great opportunity to move nine points clear of their rivals and are favourites to win the game at odds of 5/4. United are 11/5 to register their first win at Stamford Bridge since April 2002 and the draw is a 21/10 chance.
Bookies are predicting that it will be a close game and the favourite correct score is a 1-1 draw at 9/2 with a 1-0 home win is considered the next most likely outcome at 5/1. In the first goalscorer betting, Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka head the betting at 6/1 for either to open the scoring. Man Utd are likely to welcome back Cristiano Ronaldo from injury and he is a 13/2 chance to bag the first goal on his return to the side, new signing Dimitar Berbatov is also a 13/2 chance with Lampard a 15/2 chance and Wayne Rooney 8/1.
If you plan to have a bet on this game Paddypower will be refunding all losing first/last goalscorer, correct scorer and scorecast bets if a red card is shown at any time during the match.

Paddy Power Horse Racing Money Back Offer
September 12, 2008
Each day, Paddy Power offer a money back offer on a horse race in the UK. Today’s offer applies to the 2:05 at Doncaster. If your horse finishes second in this 17 runner race, they will refund your stake on the race.
It looks a tough race to call, with several runners holding decent claims. Bollin Felix is the likely favoruite and justifiably so, holding the best form in the race. Tropicial Strait and Laterly also hold big chances but it should pay to back Cool Judgement who has progressed really well as three year old and could still have more to offer.

Man City v Chelsea Odds and Money Back Offer
September 11, 2008
Man City v Chelsea is the clash of the Premier League’s two richest clubs and until transfer deadline day, this would have just been another game. However, events at the City of Manchester Stadium last week meant that Chelsea and owner Roman Abramovich, were knocked off their perch as the wealthiest club in the Premiership. Man City are now the richest team in the league thanks to the take over from new owners Abu Dhabi United, the owner of which, Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim, is reported to be worth ten times more than Chelsea’s Abramovich. The news of the takeover was still breaking before the cheque book was out in the blue half of Manchester and City had hijakced Chelsea’s bid to sign Robinho from Real Madrid - for a British transfer record, £32 million. Leaving Chelsea without their man!
In an ironic twist, Saturday’s game will be the first for Man City under its new ownership as well as being Robinho’s debut. Thus it is no surprise that the game is on TV and bookmakers are competiting for the increased business as a result of the huge interest in this game. Paddypower will be refunding first goalscorer, last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast bets on this game if Robinho scores at any time during the game (for either team!).
Chelsea are favourites to win the game with Paddypower at odds of 4/5, whilst Man City are 7/2 with the draw available at 23/10. The odds are sure to split opinions with Chelsea much bigger than normal for this game but equally, plenty of punters will be eager to back City if they believe that the renaissance can begin immediately. All eyes will be Roninho, who is 10/1 to score the first goal or 4/1 to score at any time. Shaun Wright Phillips recently left Stamford Bridge for Manchester and is 14/1 to score the first goal after netting a brace on his debut last time out. Chelsea’s biggest threat comes in the form of a former Man City player, Nicolas Anelka, who is currently up front on his own, whilst Didier Drogba recovers from injury; the French striker is sure to attract plenty of backers at 11/2.
