After 4 years in charge of Celtic, Gordon Strachan decided to leave the club after failing to win another league title in the 2008/09 season, although having brought 6 major trophies to the club, whoever takes over from will have to go someway to improve on his deadpan humour.
Strachan Quotes:
Reporter: Gordon, Do you think James Beattie deserves to be in the England squad?
Strachan: I don’t care, I’m Scottish
Reporter: Is that your best start to a season?
Strachan: Well I’ve still got a job, so it’s far better than the Coventry one, that’s for sure.
Gary Lineker: So Gordon, if you were English, what formation would you play?
Gordon Strachan: If I was English I’d top myself!
