The tournament features two English sides the Sussex Sharks and the Somerset Sabres in what is a league competition between 12 teams, starting with a round robin competition consisting of 4 pools with 3 teams. Then the top 2 teams from each pool will move to the league stages, which will consist of two pools of four teams. Finally the two top teams from each league move to a knock out competition of two rounds, a total of 19 matches will be played in the 16 day tournament.
