The Matalan Anniversary 4YO Novices’ Hurdle is as the name suggests a race for 4 year old horses!  It will feature 13 runners over a distance of 2 miles and 110 yards on a course that has the going set as good.  This is one of today’s big money races with a prize fund of £130.000 and can be watched live on BBC2.
