Preston v Sheffield United play off semi final betting

The first leg of the Coca Cola Championship play off semi finals starts tonight with Sheffield United travelling to Deepdale to face Preston. Preston managed to squeeze into the play off positions on the last day of the league and only them by goal difference, could they be the team that gets the coveted promotion spot to take them to the Barclays’ Premier League?
Preston go into the game without Richard Chaplow and Michael Hart who are both out with injury’s, Lee Williamson is suspended but they have winter Ross Wallace returning to the squad following his one match suspension. Kevin Blackwell’s Sheffield side could be without two major players but Blackwell is keeping tight lipped as to who they are.
Preston are being quoted odds of 7/5 by Ladbrokes for a home win and are 11/5 for the draw, an away win for Sheffield United is attracting odds of 2/1. The odds for first goal scorer are 6/1 and the honour of that falls to Neil Mellor.
