Manny Pacquiao defends his WBO welterweight title against Joshua Clottey

The Filipino boxer that beat the British hopeful Ricky Hatton last year for the IBO and Ring Magazine Light Welterweight titles Manny Pacquiao will this year take on Joshua Clottey on March 13th the Cowboys Stadium in front of an expected 40,000 fans for a WBO welterweight title defense fight.

It will come as no surprise that the bookies Ladbrokes unsurprisingly are making the Fighting Pride of the Philippines their favourite to win this bout.
The Filipino boxing superstar became the first boxer in history to win an amazing 7 world titles in 7 different weights he has to date fought 55 times, winning 50 of these (38 by knockout), losing 3 times and drawn on 2 occasions. He is up against Clottey who is the former IBF Welterweight Champion fighting 39 times (20 by a knockout), drawing once and losing on 3 occasions.
