Liverpool Hurdle has Big Buck’s as the leader

The John Smith’s Liverpool Hurdle kicks off the 2009 Aintree Grand National at 2:00pm today.  The first race will have 10 runners over a distance of 3 miles and 110 yards the going for the race is good and has a £100,000 prize fund.  The race can be watched live on BBC2 and audio commentary is available on the Stan James website.

The favourite for this race is Big Bucks at odds of 4/5 and is ridden by one of the most famous jockeys at the moment Ruby Walsh. The second favourite is the Richard Johnson ridden Mighty Man at 9/2. The Free Bets Blog Tip is Hills Of Aran ridden by Tony McCoy at odds of 14/1.
