The final of the X Factor 2009 starts this coming Sunday the 13th December, much to the annoyance of the BBC at it is set to go head to head with their coveted awards ceremony the Sports Personality Of The Year awards. The move has been branded as cynical by insiders at the BBC as for the last 20 years the SPotY has ran on the Sunday night whilst the relative newcomer has until this year had its final on a Saturday night.
X Factor Finals betting
The betting for the winner of this years X Factor has changed quite a few times, for a while Olly Murs was the clear favourite to win the contest but has seen his odds go down to 5/1 and he is now placed to come in third place. The favourite to win is now Joe McElderry who has won viewers over since his performance of the Journey classic “Don’t Stop Believing” which was so good it resulted in fans hunting down the original and downloading it so many times that it managed to re-enter the charts! The song is even rumoured to be the winning singers song, which will no doubt go to sell millions and go onto be the Christmas number one single.
