One of the hottest bets made on the Cheltenham Festival is who will be this years top jockey, coming home on the most winners during the four day duration of the event. It is normally a hotly contested event but last years winner Ruby Walsh is a very clear early favourite to repeat his success.

The bookies Bet 365 have released their list of odds for the coveted top jockey spot and it is no surprise to see Ruby Walsh dominating the pack.

During his time at Cheltenham Walsh has logged an almost record breaking 24 wins, he just needs one more win to equal the record set by Pat Taaffe. In 2009 Ruby went on to ride seven winners over the four days, an almost impossible personal record to break. His closest rival Barry Geraghty managed to win just win three races in 2009 and has a career total of sixteen Cheltenham wins.
