England v Netherlands Betting Specials with Bet365

England face Netherlands in a potentially thrilling international friendly on Wednesday at Wembley Stadium. The two sides last met two years when England recovered from two goals down to draw 2-2 in Amsterdam. However, since then the teams have experienced different fortunes, with Holland going on to reach the 2010 World Cup Final, which they narrowly lost to Spain in extra-time, and England once again crumbling under the pressure of a major tournament. If England can get a decent result on Wednesday then it will fill them with confidence ahead of their remaning Euro 2010 qualification matches.
Fabio Capello has called up a few new faces to his England squad, including Manchester United’s Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck and Tottenham’s Kyle Walker. The match provides Capello with a chance to make some adjustments ahead of England’s important Euro 2012 qualification match away to Bulgaria in September.
Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is most porbably going to partner Wayne Rooney upfront, with Peter Crouch and Welbeck likely to come on in the second-half. Rooney is the 5/1 favourite to open the scoring with Bet365, while Carroll and Crouch are both priced at 13/2 and Welbeck 8/1. With star midfielder Jack Wilshere unlikely to play due to a niggling ankle injury, Capello may try out a new midfield system, which may suit the attacking aspects of Frank Lampard’s game, with the Chelsea player in desperate need of a strong performance for his country.
Holland have one of the most feared attacking line-ups in world football, with the likes of Arjen Robben, Robin van Persie, Wesley Sneijder and Klass Jan Huntelaar in their line-up. England’s occasionally wobbly defence will have to be on top of their game in order to prevent the visitors from getting on the scoresheet.
Bet365 have England priced at 11/8 to come away victorious, whil Holland are available at 2/1 to win and a draw is 9/4. We have a sneaky suspicion that we may witness another cracking 2-2 draw, which is available at odds of 14/1. Also, why not take advantage of Bet35′s special offer – Â If you place a pre-match, half-time/full-time or scorecast bet and the match finishes 0-0 then Bet365 will refund your losing bet.
