According to odds from Victor Chandler Grant looks set to be new boss at Portsmouth

Another football manager has been sacked as struggling Portsmouth said goodbye to Paul Hart on Tuesday, Hart took over permanently in July after keeping Portsmouth up last season. This season however has seen a run of poor results which has left Portsmouth languishing at the bottom of the Barclays’ Premier League having only claimed 7 points from the 39 available.
The person most likely to take over as the full time manager is Portsmouth’s current Director of football Avram Grant. The former Chelsea boss returned to Portsmouth in October but he is currently awaiting a work permit which will allow him to be available to take over managerial duties.
There however quite a few contenders for the position as well as Grant as there are so many Football Managers currently out of work, next to Grant the bookies favourite looks like former Charlton and West Ham United boss Alan Curbishley.
