Super Bowl 46 Betting Shows The New England Patriots As The Warm Favourites
January 16, 2012
We are down to just four teams in the NFL and with the Superbowl just a matter of days away we are looking forward to two excellent Championship matches this weekend. The big shock of the play-offs so far saw the Green Bay Packers crash out after they were beaten by the New York Giants, it was a clinical away performance from the Giants and they will now head to San Francisco to meet the 49ers in the NFC Championship match.
The NFC Championship match looks particularly tight with both teams producing shocks in the last round, the bookmakers are struggling to split the teams with Paddy Power making both the Giants and the 49ers an 11/4 shot to won the Superbowl. The Giants will be looking to Eli Manning to produce the goods as he did against the Packers while the 49ers will be looking to continue the momentum they picked up in during their thrilling win over the New Orleans Saints this past weekend.
The AFC Championship match looks a little more straight forward with the hot New England Patriots expected to have too much for the Baltimore Ravens who are continuing their fine season. Tom Brady will be leading the Patriots line as always and his experience could be key over the next couple of weeks as Paddy Power make them the 5/4 favourites to win the Superbowl. The Ravens have a massive task on their hands as they head to New England for their second AFC Championship match in four years, keeping the shackles on Brady will be key as always but as the betting suggests they face an uphill task.

Miami Heat and Lebron James Odds On In NBA Championship Betting
May 26, 2011
We are at the business end of the NBA Season in America with the play-offs reaching a climax and all attention continues to be on the big spending Miami Heat, who according to the latest show of betting are set to claim their second NBA Championship this year. The Heat have been in form all season following their capture of Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade and Lebron James in the off season and those three in particular have been instrumental in their success so far in the play-offs. James is of course the biggest name in the NBA at the moment and with his help the bookmakers believe the Heat are a sure thing with Boylesports pricing them at 1/2 to win the Championship this season.
The Heat are already on the verge of claiming the Eastern Conference with a series win over the Chicago Bulls looking like a certainty at the moment, they will then go through to take on the impressive Dallas Mavericks who have claimed the win in the West. The Mavericks swept aside the challenge from the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Conference Finals and should match up well against the Heat despite being the underdogs. Punters wanting to back Dallas to win the 2011 NBA Championship get get a price of 13/8 currently with Boylesports and that could prove nice value.
There is no doubt that The Heat will be the team to beat in the finals when they make their way past the Chicago Bulls but in the Dallas Mavericks they will be facing a tough team who will fancy their chances of an upset. Miami will be looking to Lebron James to lead them to victory and he will of course be the favourite to pick up the coveted MVP ring if the Heat are successful in the upcoming best-of-seven final series.
