Former Olympic gold medalist Sharron Davies was the latest contestant to be eliminated off the ITV1 reality television show Dancing on Ice she faced fellow skater and Inbetweener actress Emily Atack (Emily is the current favourite to be booted off next week at odds of 5/4).
The favourite to win the contest this years looks certain to be former Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon who has been the favourite pretty much from the start of the show.

Who killed Archie Mitchell?
Its the whodunit of the decade (so far) and the secrecy of the killer is almost on a par with who shot JR Ewing from Dallas in 1980, to keep the identity of the secret the killer will not be revealed until the airing of the live episode tonight of Eastenders on BBC 1 at 19:30 (well we imagine it will be at 19:59 just in time for the Da Dum Dum Dum outro music), according to press reports not even the cast will know to the last minute who will be revealed as the killer so it will make for some exciting viewing and is sure to be a ratings winner for the BBC.
The mystery is part of the 25th anniversary of Eastenders which has seen old characters such as Sonia and Robbie return. The current favourite to be named as the killer is bad boy Sean Slater who could have returned to avenge Archie’s attack on his sister, other likely suspects are Peggy (who is set to leave the Square soon!) and its a good bet to think that a Mitchell will be involved somewhere along the story, or could it be a silent killer in Tracey the barmaid who has stayed almost silent in 25 years of Eastenders and has finally exploded into a maddening rage?
If Phil’s son Ben Mitchell is uncovered as the killer then Paddy Power will refund all bets on this market.

Poor Ashley Cole he has just suffered a horrendous injury blow in the game against Everton where he broke his ankle which could rule him out of action for the next three months which may mean he will not be in contention for a place in the England football squad when Fabio Capello has to make his squad decisions for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
To make things worse it has just hit the headlines that the Chelsea left back has taken photos on a camera phone of himself that are “racy” that has ended up in the hands of a third party due to Cole giving the phone to someone else, quite why Ashley felt the need to take dodgy photos of himself on an pay as you go phone, something that a man having an affair might own?

You either love him or hate him, he is literally television marmite and he no longer going to be on our screens (well for a while anyway). In a move that has surprised many of his fans talk show host and radio personality Jonathan Ross has decided to end his tenure at the BBC after 13 years. Ross was the corporation’s highest paid personality and was believed to have been paid in the region of £13 million for his last contract with the Beeb.
It’s only a matter of time before Jonathan Ross gets bored when he had to take a 3 month leave of absence last year for his part in the Manuelgate scandal with his Radio 2 comrade Russell Brand he commented on how bored he got and could not wait to get back into action.

The quitting of Ross will leave a massive void in the BBC schedules as he headed up their Saturday night flagship programme which many Hollywood A-listers like Tom Hanks, Quentin Tarantino and Tom Cruise would insist on being part of as they loved the charm and offensiveness of Mr Ross, he also was the face of the Film programme and on Saturday afternoon he did a 3 hour radio stint on Radio 2 which will need to be replaced and quickly!.

Celebrity Big Brother 2010 betting odds

Channel 4 have now let in the final contestants for the last ever Celebrity Big Brother as they entered the house last night, there was the normal mixture of celebrities that went into the house that produce the remarks, “who?”, “are they still alive?” and “that’s scraping the barrel a bit!”. The final rundown gives us 4 singers, 3 actors, 2 ex partners of celebrities, 1 page 3 girl/WAG and 1 Hollywood Madame.
Most of the contestants were known well in advance so there were no real surprises, we of course left without Boy George who not allowed to enter due to his bail restrictions and Paul Gascoigne had reportedly pulled out, early indications have put footballer come movie star Vinnie Jones as the favourite to win the event, but whether he can last the duration in a small confined area without blowing a fuse remains to be seen.
