Munster favourites in Magners League betting

Bloodgate creates a wave of betting on Rugby Union cheats

Following the shocking news that the Harlequins ex rugby director Dean Richards was responsible for orchestrating the fake blood injury of Tom Williams in the Heineken Cup tie with Leinster in what has become known as “Bloodgate” the bookmaker Paddy Power is betting on the next rugby Club to be fined by the European Rugby Cup panel (ERC) for a faked injury.

British and Irish Lions final test betting odds

The 3rd and final test of the British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa takes place on Saturday at Ellis Park, in Johannesburg. The Lions will be hoping for a win this weekend so that their tour against South Africa is not a complete whitewash, they was a great deal of controversy when they were beaten in the 2nd test last weekend and this will be the last chance for Ian Mcgeechan’s side to get a win in the test series.

The Lions had a great run up to the tour in their warm up matches and will be no doubt be disappointed in their test match outcomes, they will also be going into the game without Brian O’Driscoll after he suffered concussion in the 28-25 defeat in the second test, it is likely that New Zealand born Riki Flutey will make his debut as Driscoll’s replacement.

Springboks favourites in 1st test betting against the Lions

British Lions begin their tour of South Africa

This coming Saturday sees the first warm up match in the British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa, with the first game taking place at 14:00 between the Royal XV and the  British & Irish Lions at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.

The tour of South Africa is a tough schedule of games with three test matches and no less than seven warm up games and mid week matches to squeeze in before the final game at the beginning of July.  The first real match of the tour takes place on the 20th June against the Springboks at ABSA Park in Durban.
