Craig Levein’s Scotland side favourite for Liechtenstein Euro 2010 qualifier

September 6, 2010

Scotland have not qualified for the European Championship since 1996 when they failed to get past round 1 and are currently lying in second place in Group I following their 0-0 draw last week against Lithuania and tomorrow night they will be playing Liechtenstein where they are expected to claim all 3 points and go at least temporary to the top of the group in a group that could be the sides best ever chance of qualification.

The match will take place at Scotland’s Hampden Park stadium tomorrow night and Scotland manager Craig Levein is thought to be considering making several changes to his squad for this fixture but will not name is his squad until later this evening.

Scotland v Liechtenstein match odds

Barring any major upset the game should easily be Scotland’s game for the taking, but in Scottish international football matches anything can happen, they can beat teams like France and the Czech Republic then lose against Macedonia or worse Wales. Even so looking at the odds for a Scotland win you would have to put on thousands of pounds to make your bet worthwhile.

  • 1/14 – Scotland win
  • 16/1 – Liechtenstein win
  • 15/2 – Draw
