Kasabian look set to rock the Brits 2010 with at least Best British Group

Tonight will see the “Best of British” pop music acts head down to Earls Court for the Brits 2010 Awards Ceremony. Although it originally started in 1977 as the British Record Industry Britannia Centenary Awards and came from the Wembley Conference Centre it will mark the shows 30th outing due to a couple of years without the event.
Over the years there have been some memorable events such as the terrible presenting by Samantha Fox and Mick Fleetwood in 1989 and Jarvis Cocker mooning during a performance by Michael Jackson in 1996, will there be any surprises to come in this years ceremony?

You either love him or hate him, he is literally television marmite and he no longer going to be on our screens (well for a while anyway). In a move that has surprised many of his fans talk show host and radio personality Jonathan Ross has decided to end his tenure at the BBC after 13 years. Ross was the corporation’s highest paid personality and was believed to have been paid in the region of £13 million for his last contract with the Beeb.
It’s only a matter of time before Jonathan Ross gets bored when he had to take a 3 month leave of absence last year for his part in the Manuelgate scandal with his Radio 2 comrade Russell Brand he commented on how bored he got and could not wait to get back into action.

The quitting of Ross will leave a massive void in the BBC schedules as he headed up their Saturday night flagship programme which many Hollywood A-listers like Tom Hanks, Quentin Tarantino and Tom Cruise would insist on being part of as they loved the charm and offensiveness of Mr Ross, he also was the face of the Film programme and on Saturday afternoon he did a 3 hour radio stint on Radio 2 which will need to be replaced and quickly!.
