January 27, 2010 · Print This Article

President Obama will be delivering his first ever State of the Union Address later today in the United States House of Representatives.  As important speeches go this is by the far the most important of any President’s career as it sets out the polices for the next few years of government as well as telling the American people how well he is progressing in his Presidential journey. Expected topics that he will be covering are the reforms he is making to the health care system, cuts the federal deficit and job creation schemes.

Unlike speeches made by UK politicians this speech is televised and watched by millions of people not only in the United States but it will also have a massive world wide audience. The Irish bookmaker Paddy Power who specialise in political betting have released their odds for the speech.
