Paddy Power release odds on the final five contestants for X Factor 2009

At last the twins are out of the X Factor, but with Louis and Simon behind them it won’t be the last we hear of them, they are this years Cheeky Girls! Expect them to release a string of novelty records over the coming year, and don’t be surprised if it is Ghostbusters!

What was a surprise in this weeks voting show was that former favourite to win the competition Olly Murs was in the final two and had to be involved in the sing-off against Jedward. As a singing competition there was no real question on who would win but Danni said if it was on entertainment she may have voted for the boys.

• 11/8 – Joe McElderry
• 9/4 – Stacey Soloman
• 3/1 – Olly Murs
• 6/1 – Danyl Johnson
• 33/1 – Lloyd Daniels

Its quite a close call on who will win the event (apart from Lloyd Danies who is sure to be eliminated next week) but Joe has managed to leap ahead  of Olly and Stacey in the betting odds.
