It does not matter that the Country is in the middle of a financial meltdown with jobs are going left right and centre and that the planet is about to enter a new ice age caused by global warming we can all rejoice as there is a Royal Wedding to look forward to!  The eldest son of Prince Charles and the deceased Peoples Princess, Prince William has announced his engagement to his long term girlfriend Kate Middleton (who will be known only as Katherine as Kate is far to informal.)

For the engagement the Prince has given his fiancée Princess Diana’s engagement ring, surely not a good sign for a long marriage going on the rings form!

With the date looking set to be sometime between March and April and the venue looking like it will be at Westminster Abbey following Kate Middleton’s visit to the venue last week presumable to check out that it meets her approval.

The bookmakers Paddy Power are running several markets on what will surely be the wedding of the year. These include what colour the Queens hat will be for the event as well as which designer will make Kate’s wedding dress and also what colour the dress will be.

Wedding Dress Colour

Paddypower will only payout on the exact could colour that is confirmed by a Royal spokesperson as the predominant colour of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress.
