Amazing performance by Danyl Johnson sparks betting frenzy on X Factor winner

The X Factor 2009 blasted off at the weekend with a slight change of format, instead of the normal studio setting with no music, the X Factor wanabees are thrust onto a stage in front of 2500 crowd as well as the judges and are accompanied by music and background singers.

All four judges returned to show amid speculation that Danni was going to get the boot in place of another young starlet but she’s back and as blank faced as ever, last years winning judge Cheryl Cole is the favourite judge to win with her category.

On the first show of the new series the teacher Danyl Johnson’s performance of “With a Little Help From my Friends” which closed the show resulted in a standing ovation from all 4 judges and has given him incredibly short odds already of just 5/2 to win the X Factor 2009.
