Will 2010 be the year to back Ian Poulter?
January 26, 2010
Yesterday in the Abu Dhabi Championship British golfer Ian Poulter suffered a gut turning one stoke loss in the tournament which denied him a win and giving the title to the German Martin Kaymer who took the tournament for his second time. Poulter managed to keep his cool on this occasion and there was no repeat of the performance he showed at the Mercedes-Benz Championship when he smashed his tee marker in frustration!
Despite the loss his performance in the contest was enough for Poulter to climb into the top ten list of the worlds top golfers as the 34 year old has now recorded four consecutive top 10 finishes on the European Tour.
This is enough for Paddy Power to think that Ian Poulter may now good enough to go after on of the majors and come away with one of the big prize fund on offer in 2010, so they have released his odds for winning some of the major golf tournaments of 2010.
Ian Poulter to win:
- 40/1 – 2010 US Masters
- 66/1 – 2010 US Open
- 33/1 – 2010 Open Championship
- 66/1 – 2010 PGA Championship

Who will win the FHM Sexiest Woman of 2010?
January 25, 2010
Who is the hottest female of 2010?
The bookmaker Paddy Power have released their odds for who they believe will be in the running for the coveted FHM Sexiest Woman Poll. Last years winner Cheryl Cole’s appeal has only increased of late with her number one solo single and her ongoing appearances as a judge on the X-Factor has only increased her odds of winning. She does have however had close competition from 2008 winner and star of Transformers Megan Fox.
However at Freebetsblog.com we would like to see a bit of a change and rather than having a big movie star like Ms Fox, who’s charms are not in dispute and whilst we too enjoy the company of Cheryl Cole and would tip her to win and bag her second award we would like to see Holly Willoughby come in the top 5 as she makes watching Dancing on Ice at least bearable!

Outright odds for FHM’s Sexiest Female of 2010
- 1/3 – Cheryl Cole
- 7/4 – Megan Fox
- 12/1 - Jessica Alba

- 25/1 – Holly Willoughby
FHM Sexiest Woman Past Winners
The FHM sexiest woman poll has been running since 1995 with supermodel Claudia Schiffer bagging the top prize. Over the following years there has been a wide variety of winners from Gillian Anderson to Kelly Brook winning and only Jennifer Lopez has had the honour to win the award on more than one occasion.

2007 – Jessica Alba
2006 – Keira Knightley
2005 – Kelly Brook

Can Tevez put in a repeat performance against his former team?
January 25, 2010
This Wednesday night sees the second leg of the Carling Cup tie between Manchester’s footballing giants. City are on a roll at the moment having progressed to next round of the FA Cup following an exciting fixture against Scunthorpe at the weekend and also beating United last week in the first leg of this fixture.
Manchester United’s league form has been excellent of late they have had several high scoring games (admittedly against teams much lower in the league) and it was only the blip last week against City that has marred their form and with the fixture being at Old Trafford they will be hoping that the twelfth man factor will give them the edge over Roberto Mancini’s side.
Man Utd v Man City match odds
If former United striker and current City golden boy Carlos Tevez scores the final goal of the game Paddy Power will refund all losing first and last goal scorers as well as correct score and scorecast singles made on the match. According to Paddypower Tevez is currently at odds of 8/1 to score the last goal of the game.
Player to score 2 goals or more.
In the previous encounter Tevez managed to knock 2 goals past his former teammates.
