David Cameron favourite to take over from Gordon Brown
November 30, 2009
It the most open secret in the world of politics that the date for the next general election will take place in May 2010 (now at odds of just 1/5) and even if current Labour Prime minister Gordon Brown decides to stand for election as the next Prime minister the odds of him staying on as much as that as Katie Price and Peter Andre NOT getting back together at some point (cough, media opportunity, cough).
Its not really much of a struggle for Cameron to get himself elected, the UK public is completely disenfranchised by Labour and its policies, and the Liberal Democrats will never be more than a fringe party. The only thing that could stop Cameron getting the job is if turns up on TV and confesses to be a mass murderer and even then he may just pip Brown.
Next British Prime minister
- 1/10 – David Cameron
- 4/1 – Alan Johnson
- 12/1 – Harriet Harman
- 14/1 – David Miliband
- 18/1 – Peter Mandelson
- 50/1 – Nick Clegg
